An exceptional French Art Deco molded and cut-crystal chandelier, the central stem issuing six out-scrolled candle-branches suspending lustre drops, terminating in a spherical boss. Attributed to Compagnie Des Cristalleries De Baccarat, Paris, circa 1930.
The crystal of exceptional quality and weight, this chandelier was purchased directly from 1 Sutton Place South. The residence contained fixtures that were original to the building, which was built in 1927 by Rosario Candela.
